"Stop. Be Still. Put It All Down. Rest. With Kindness."
David is an authorized Trained Teacher of Mindful Self Compassion through the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion. He began his exposure to Mindful Self-Compassion through an initial eight-week MSC course, followed by three consecutive rounds of the 8 month Community for Deepening Practice (CDP) course.
“I believe that, for me, it is vital that I fully embrace, imbue, and synthesize MSC fully into my life. I want to live a full life and accepting my imperfect self, in all its incarnations, is an important (maybe the most important?) part of the spiritual and psychological path."
Starting in 2019, David’s health and function experienced a significant decline due to a chronic but progressively debilitating condition. Ultimately, this enfeebling condition forced him to stop working in his secular job as a mid-level manager with a global health management company. As such, David’s offerings are limited and depend on his current energy and pain levels.
Currently, David is one of the authorized volunteer Facilitators for the CMSC's Circle of Practices. In addition to Mindful Self-Compassion, David also practices non-dual meditation with Michael Taft https://deconstructingyourself.com and Yoga Nidra with Kelly Boys https://www.kellyboys.org .
In a former life, David was a ballet dancer, singer, and health care administrator.
